Children’s Privacy

InfoMedica USA does not knowingly collect or share any personal information from children under 18 years of age.  If you are under 18, you may only use this site with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian. In the event we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

Pixel Tags:
We also collect information through the use of “pixel tags” on our websites and in email messages we may send to you that may be placed by us or third parties with whom we partner. “Pixels,” also known as “Web beacons,” are tiny graphic files or code snippets, not visible to the human eye, that can be included in HTML-encoded email messages and web pages. When such a message is opened in an HTML-capable email program, the recipient’s computer or device will communicate with our server to retrieve the pixel tag file, allowing us to record and store general information that is not identifiable regarding emails opened and viewed. The pixel tag may also see or read cookies. InfoMedica USA may use pixel tags in order to measure and understand traffic better, improve site performance, track visitor behavior to improve user experience, among others. You can disable the pixel tag feature by changing the settings on your email client to prevent the automatic downloading of images, changing your browser settings to omit images, disabling Javascript, or there are commercial software packages available that can omit pixel tags and most advertisements.

InfoMedica USA does not sell your personal information to an outside party.

InfoMedica USA does share your personal information with service providers that assist with our business activities, including data enhancement services, and companies that help us improve our services.  This information is not identifiable. Additionally, email addresses for those not residing in California, that are collected during the booklet download process may be shared to perform general advertising.

 

Whatever the instance, we do not allow service providers to share or use your personal information for any purpose other than providing the contracted services on InfoMedica USA’s behalf. Additionally, we require our service providers to keep your personal information secure.

If you would like to request the data we’ve collected about you, correct inaccurate data we’ve collected about you, or delete the data we’ve collected about you, please click here. This link will bring you to our Privacy Act Personal Information Request Form. This form must be completed in full for your request to be processed. Failure to complete the form in full means your privacy request will not be transmitted or processed.

 

Once your form is completed and submitted, you will receive an automated response which serves as acknowledgement that we have received your request. Upon receipt of your request, we will verify your request by comparing data points we’ve asked for on the form with the data points we have within in our system. This verification process is required by law. Once the request is verified, we will proceed in carrying out the request you’ve made. Any information or confirmation we provide you with will be provided in a readily usable format within the timeframe as specified by law.

 

What happens if a personal information request cannot be verified?

If a personal information request cannot be verified, the request cannot be processed or completed. We may try to contact you with a request for additional data points in an attempt to verify your request. If this does not result in a verifiable request, we will communicate to you that your request cannot be completed because the verification process was unsuccessful.

 

Data requests can be made twice within a 12-month period. Please be sure to provide all information requested for verification purposes. As dictated by law, verification is required before we perform any personal information request. We will process your request within the timeframe as required by law.
